Types of wood

Here in the USA, we categorize the wood into two different categories, domestic and exotic. In the domestic category one will find woods such as Ash, American Cherry, Red Oak, Maple, Birch and Walnut. In the exotic category one will find such woods as tiger wood, Brazilian Cherry, Bamboo and Amendoim.

Other than price, each species has their benefits. Upon further inspection, you will find that although these are all hardwoods, the grain patterns change as well as the density and the color. these are a matter of personal preference, so choose what you like!
